As one of the important activities of the Consortium to accelerate tapping the rich resources available in different parts of  State,  Manipur Small Farmers' Agri-Business Consortium sponsored a two day Seminar on “Resource Mobilisation for Socio-Economic Development in Ukhrul District” from 17-18th August 2003 at Youth Hostel Ukhrul. The Seminar was organised by three NGOs of the District,  viz.        “The Community Development Organisation, Ukhrul”,  “Homoeopathic Community Welfare Organisation, Ukhrul ” and “Eastern Voluntary Organisation, Ukhrul”. Resource persons from ICAR Imphal Centre, NGOs, District level Officers from the Departments of Agriculture, the Fishery and the Vety. & AH   have deliberated in the Seminar. 150 Farmers and Entrepreneurs participated. The Team also  visited the Herbal Medicinal Farm maintained by the Homoeopathic Community Welfare Organisation at the District Head Qtr. Ukhrul.
