With an objective to mobilise the specific location  resources available in the  district; one day  Workshop on Resource mobilisation for Socio-economic Development organised by MACROCOM Youth Dev. Organisation, Tentha, Thoubal District was sponsored by Manipur Small Farmers' Agri-Business Consortium. The Workshop focused on Fish Farming, Livestock Rearing and identification and exploration of medicinal and Aromatic Plants which are the rich resources of the district. the workshop was inaugurated by Prof. N. Mohendro Singh,  Director College Dev. and  HOD, Economics Department, Manipur University Canchipur with Shri.Henry K Heni, IAS, Comm. (Agri./Hort.& Soil Conservation), Government of Manipur as president of the function. Prof.M.Rohinikumar, Director Research, Central Agriculture University, Imphal graced the function as Guest of Honour. The workshop was attended by 150 participants comprising NGOs, Entrepreneurs and growers of the District.
